WORCESTER — It’s going to be a difficult year for investors, or as financial journalist Ron Insana calls it, “the year of living dangerously.”
Mr. Insana, senior analyst and commentator for CNBC and MSNBC, and host of a nationally syndicated radio show, spoke at the Worcester Economic Club’s meeting Wednesday at the Beechwood Hotel.
In an interview before the event, Mr. Insana said that indicators, including the possibility of a Federal Reserve Bank rate hike, a weak global economy, a tumultuous political climate and geopolitical risks all play into his thinking that rough times are ahead.
His three-decade career in the financial industry has included high-profile interviews with Warren Buffet, George Soros, Bill Gates, and the late Steve Jobs, as well as presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton.
