NINA EASTON

Nina Easton is senior editor-at-large at FORTUNE and longtime FOX News “All-Star” panelist, offering commentary on politics, the economy and foreign policy to an audience of millions in print and on cable TV’s highest-rated prime time shows.

Easton is also chair of FORTUNE Most Powerful Women International 3⁄4 providing programming and stage presence for this influential gathering of business leaders that now stretches from the U.S. to Asia and Europe. She co-chairs two other top FORTUNE franchises—the Fortune MPW Summit and the Fortune Global Forum. And as senior associate at the prestigious Center for Strategic and International Studies, she hosts a series of live events and iTunes podcasts on global affairs.

All of that makes Easton an experienced and lively emcee, moderator and interviewer. From Bette Davis to Hillary Clinton, from Christine Lagarde to Steve Wozniak, from Condi Rice to Barack Obama, Easton has interviewed the biggest names in business, politics—and even Hollywood.

She is a regular panelist on FOX News Sunday and the primetime Special Report with Bret Baier, as well as other top-rated FOX News shows. She also has provided commentary on NBC’s Meet the Press, CBS’s Face the Nation, ABC’s This Week, PBS’s Washington Week in Review, The Charlie Rose Show and National Public Radio, among others.

As a book author and 2012 Harvard Kennedy School fellow, she brings an intellectual depth to all of her commentary and interviews. She authored the acclaimed political history Gang of Five: Leaders at the Center of the Conservative Ascendancy (Simon & Schuster, 2002), praised by The Washington Post for telling the story of post-Reagan conservatism “more inventively, exhaustively and entertainingly than anyone else.”

In 2004, she co-wrote the book John F. Kerry: A Complete Biography and coordinated much of The Boston Globe‘s political coverage as deputy chief of its Washington bureau. From 1988 until 1998, Easton was a staff writer for The Los Angeles Times and its Sunday magazine, where her articles won numerous major awards.

She grew up in California and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of University of California, Berkeley.

The 542nd meeting is sponsored by Commerce Bank and Fallon Health.
