With the 2023-2024 season upon us, we are thrilled to present an exciting lineup of events featuring renowned speakers who will undoubtedly engage and enlighten our club members. While some high-powered speakers are finalizing their schedules, we’re committed to promptly communicating the specific dates as they are confirmed. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:

  • January 2024: Join us as we host Rick Green, the visionary Founder of 1A Auto, who will inspire us with his entrepreneurial journey and industry expertise.
  • February 2024: Brace yourself for a thought-provoking evening with Congressman Byron Donalds (R-Naples, FL), who will shed light on national economic policies and their impact.
  • March 2024: Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear Dr. “Grace” Jinliu Wang, President of WPI, speak on her extensive experience in academia and research innovation.
  • Late May 2024: Conclude the season with a bang as we welcome Adam Selipsky, the CEO of Amazon Web Services (AWS), who will share insights into the future of technology, artificial intelligence, and its influence on the global economy.

through the acquisition of Pall Corporation, a number of other key acquisitions, and the launch of Fortive Corporation, a new, independent, publicly traded company. An equally dedicated people leader, Tom has also spearheaded far-reaching efforts to align the company and culture around a shared purpose, and to build a deeply engaged workforce at all levels.

Tom brings more than 25 years of deep and diverse Danaher leadership experience to his role. He most recently served as Executive Vice President, with responsibility for the Water Quality platform and Life Sciences & Diagnostics segments. In these roles he increased Danaher’s Water Quality revenue by more than $1.5 billion and led the acquisitions of Beckman Coulter and SCIEX.

Tom began his Danaher career in 1989 as a Project Manager in the Danaher Tool Group, later transitioning into a manufacturing role. In 1995, he became President of Delta Consolidated Industries and then President of Hach in 2001. He was promoted to Group Executive and Corporate Officer in 2002 and Executive Vice President in 2006. Throughout his tenure, Tom has played a key role in developing and evolving the Danaher Business System.

Before joining Danaher, Tom was a management consultant at Andersen Consulting. He earned a B.S. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross, where he now sits on the Board of Trustees. He and his wife Claire live in Washington, D.C., and have four children. Tom and his family enjoy outdoor sports, including skiing and golf, as well as international travel.
