Rick Green, a Cornell University alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, has carved a unique path from engineering to entrepreneurship. His early career as a Flight Assurance Engineer for Pegasus and Taurus Rockets laid the foundation for his technical expertise. Transitioning to the Boston Consulting Group, Rick honed his skills in Industrial Goods and e-Commerce practice.
In 1998, while pursuing his MBA at The Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, Rick embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding 1A Auto Inc. Under his leadership, the company transformed from a small startup with three employees to a global powerhouse with over 500 staff across seven offices. Rick’s vision and strategic approach have established 1A Auto as the largest vertically integrated online retailer in the aftermarket auto parts industry and eBay’s top auto parts seller.
Rick’s innovative strategies in creating the most efficient auto parts e-Commerce fulfillment operation and developing an extensive overseas supply chain have been recognized internationally. In 2019, he was honored as one of Taiwan’s Businessmen of the Year, a rare accolade for a non-Taiwanese.
