Grace J. Wang, Ph.D., an accomplished materials scientist and engineer, is WPI’s 17th president. Known as a collaborative leader in higher education, government, and industry, she has excelled at building collective vision, delivering impacts, and fostering partnerships to advance education, research, and innovation.

President Wang’s keynote address centered on Worcester’s role in the new industrial revolution. She shared her thoughts on the rapidly evolving STEM workforce landscape, growing an innovation ecosystem, and the opportunities that await us.
